A manufacturer of vehicle-activated traffic signs needed CE marking for their products. Having previously helped them achieve ISO 9001 certification, WLP was asked to help meet this new requirement.
First we identified which EC Directives applied to our client’s products.
Next, we determined whether their products already complied, whether any tests were required to prove this and whether any changes were required in their products.
Once satisfied that all the applicable requirements had been met, the next step was to draw-up a Declaration of Compliance and supporting “Technical File” which enabled our client to apply to a Notified Body to CE mark their products.
