Introduction
Grapeshot are a Cambridge-based internet keyword company. They had agreed venture capital investment to significantly grow the business and the board had identified that motivation and project management skills needed improving. WLP were asked to provide a series of cross functional workshops to improve project management and communication skills.
What We Did
- developed a workshop based around a photographic project
- brought employees from different areas/locations together to work through the critical aspects of project management, assessing and managing risks and also required behavioural changes
- facilitated mini projects whereby the groups produced portraits of their group, with each group using different themes and approaches
Results
The workshop achieved its objectives. Grapeshot subsequently recognised an increase in use of the project management tools, improved communications within and across departments, and an improved understanding of the roles of different parts of the organisation.
