The client develops seed coating technology and processes customers’ seed to enhance its planting and germination properties. They were experiencing significant growth and issues of capacity, product quality and consistency all need to be improved.
We used our considerable experience in implementing Lean Six Sigma as an improvement process and tool box. The company trained a proportion of staff to Yellow and Green belt Six Sigma across its international sites. All Green Belt trainees were allocated improvement projects.
The board quoted that they had seen a significant change in the motivation and systematic approach that staff were using throughout the business in approaching business issues and day to day problems. The Regional Director for North America stated:
