Part of a supplier to the Oil and Gas business had changed hands and had an old quality system and need certification fast as they were using the old company system and implying certification. A great number of the processes had changed as result of the move.
The system was modernised and readied for accreditation in one month. The new system was not paper based but intranet based. The company was successful in obtaining certification within 3 months.
The company could then legitimately claim to be certified. They could continue successfully in their market place. In addition, their people had a much more accessible system.
