Richard began his consulting and advisory career in 2010, following many years in industry roles within world-class manufacturing environments across the aerospace and automotive sectors. After several years with larger consultancies, he joined WLP in 2016 and is now a director of the business.

Richard specialises in leading and supporting organisational change, helping businesses translate strategy into practical action and sustainable improvements in performance, capability and ways of working. His expertise spans change management, Lean manufacturing, strategic planning and deployment, and business excellence. He works closely with leadership teams and people across organisations to build alignment around change, develop the capability needed to deliver it, and ensure that new ways of working are effectively embedded and sustained.

He is also a strong advocate for UK manufacturing and corporate sustainability, particularly the creation of positive, high-performing workplaces where people and organisations can thrive.
