Reorganisation of a Construction Company

A profitable, well regarded, medium sized construction company felt that things could be better in the way they organised themselves. Frankly the M-D was losing interest and wanted to retire.

We reviewed the organisation and determined some weaknesses. Recommendations were made on a different structure, with two new posts and some reorganisation of duties, leading to one redundancy.

We saw the redundancy through, including an appeal, and helped with the recruitment of a new key member of staff. New systems started to appear quickly, improving the effectiveness of the Directors and restoring the enthusiasm of the MD.
