An engineering company that produce sheet metal work as well as bespoke solutions for architectural features, needed to undertake external assessment of it’s processes and achieve certification to CE Mark its structural steel products. This was due to the introduction of new legislation in July 2014.
Our consultant reviewed applicable directives and standards, before devising and installing a bespoke Factory Production Control system to meet legislative requirements. We also assisted in preparing documentation, supported the client through external assessment and gave advice on product labelling and marking.
The client achieved successful certification at the first time of asking. This has enabled the company to continue to trade legally, as well as differentiate itself versus competitors which have yet to meet the required standards. The new procedures introduced by WLP have also helped strengthen general business processes.
