As part of their “best value” review the council were wanting to survey the small business community to canvass opinion on a number of key issues.
Through a combination of telemarketing 200 small businesses, with a questionnaire, we carried out face to face interviews with the business support agencies and partners.
We were able to provide the council with a survey of what local businesses felt about their relationship with the council as well as their views on business issues. We were also able to provide ideas about how their Economic Development Dept. can better engage with the business community. The work was all completed within a tight time-scale and to budget.
